The City of Corona’s vision is to be a “City of Trails” – a gateway to trails and outdoor activities and recreation. The Trails Master Plan will serve as a guide and implementation tool for the management and development of multi-purpose trails in Corona.

The Trails Master Plan – Phase II Project will help to define the desired culture for the City’s trails, provide equitable and inclusive access to trails, develop and plan for desired facilities and amenities, and exploring options to best utilize City-owned properties to meet the health and recreation needs of the community.

We need Your help!

Phase II has been conceived and designed to truly engage residents and the public through the creation of a Trails Working Group to serve as a rich resource for defining the culture and relationship of the trails system. Public input provides the context for the vision and drives the plan content. The scope of work for Phase II reflects those requirements. The Parks and Recreation Commission will further shape and facilitate the plan creation through regular involvement in the process and bi-monthly updates. The City Council will receive quarterly updates at Committee of the Whole meetings and is further invited to actively participate in the Phase II process.
